Q: 2007 KIA Spectra door mirror replacement?
I am trying to find a replacement passenger side door mirror housing unit for my red 2007 KIA Spectra but the dealers want $164 and 2 weeks. No luck on ebay, google or simiular searches.
Anyone knows any good leads for alternative parts suppliers, salvage yards, auction web sites etc ???
I need it ASAP.
A: Try another dealer. I don't know much about KIA, but Toyota will usually have them the next day, painted and ready to install. Perhaps that particular dealership doesnt have a overnight delivery.
Q: the keyless entry on my 2007 kia spectra ex keeps sounding the horn at different times after i lock it?
what could be causing this ? Ever since i had work done on it from a wreck the horn does not sound when i lock it but it would still work and now i have this problem.
A: sounds like you have a short in your wiring.

A: If you load it on a jet plane, it can go several hundred miles per hour!
On the road, it will most likely top out in the 90-100 mph range, depending on conditions! I would not want to be driving that car at that speed!

A: Pending on what you are adding. Will it change the fact they can no longer work on your electical audio then yes. Because they will work on the standard issued.
Additional: If you want to change or install special equipment then they will do that for free. Even if its not theirs.

A: Depends on the type of oil, with a full synthetic (which would be fine to use on your Kia since it isn't high mileage) you could go about 7000 miles without a change. If you have regular oil I wouldn't really recommend more than 4k miles, but keep an eye on it and if it's still driving fine don't worry.

does not need to be haynes or chilton but at least same info with pics for references.
A: you could go to AutoZone or something similar but chances are you will have to order it most places dont carry Kia manuals yet.
Q: I have a 2007 kia spectra and the windshield washer sprayers are not working... ?
I don't believe that I have ever used them .. until I just tried and they are not working...i also put a half of container of washer fluid in and it still doesn't work... anyone have any ideas..???
A: some times dirt gets in there and you have to unplugs them. or there could be a lose hose. check for further review.

I was wondering if there was any way i can change the color of the lights inside the car (the lights for the gauges and the audio and stuff). I dont really like the stock green. If i can, can you please link me a website where i can buy the bulbs. Also i could use a different face for the gauges. Thanks A Lot!!!
A: You can buy gauge kits on ebay and interior lights, accent lights too. Unless the stereo has program able colors you really can't change that.
BTW, changing the lights isn't going to void any warranty, unless you manage to break the dash while doing the install.

A: if your relly going to but a kia i would go with the sportage more options and features and about the same as the spectra

friend of mine just got and 07 spectra, i dont really like tha car cause i have a v8 but he wants me to ask what mods he can do, like a cold air intake n stuff, any ideas?
A: Doubt there's much you can do, that's not supposed to be a performance car. Spectra is great car for commuting and will last a long time, but sounds like your friend wants to pimp it into a junker and probably blow his warranty in the process. If he wants a fast vehicle buy a used sportbike for $4K and keep the car stock.
Q: which weight motor oil for both Kia and Subaru?
I've got a 2007 Kia Spectra (~6000mi) which calls for 5W-20 and a 2003 Subaru Outback (~100,000mi) which calls for 5W-30. I change my own oil and would prefer to just have one stockpile of oil, all the same weight. Think either weight would be any better than the other for both vehicles?
A: Use the manufacturer specified oil, It is there for a reason. Though 5w30 wont hurt either engine it pretty much standard for all engine but diesel. Try to stick to mobil 1 and castrol most people agree they have the best additives. Use a high quality filter. Change your oil every 3000 (5000 if you use synthetic). Going beyond that isnt a good idea,the filters no matter how good cant handle it; even newer oils that advertise 10000 or 15000 miles suggest changing the filter every 3000-5000 miles. Which of course means partially changing the oil

my friends bro challenged me to a race. he has a stock kia spectra 2007 running 120 hp. front wheel drive- manual trans. he thinks he will smoke my 1988 chevy silverado 1500. im running a 305 v8 with 240 hp. he thinks ill get him off the line and he will get me in the longrun. but i say he will get me off the line and ill smoke him in the end. he also says my 305 v8 is only running 140 hp. which is bs. i also got a cold air intake on my truck. who would win this race off the line and in the long run?
A: well how heavy is ur truck? a lil 305 should still be able to beat a piece-o-tin opps i mean kia. but ya a 305 should put out a round 240 hp. u should smoke him! chevy rules and ford can suck it
