Q: How many pounds can a 2005 Kia Sedona with a 3.5 liter engine and automatic transmission tow?
I want to be able to pull a boat with this. Does anyone know if this is possible? What modifications would have to be made to it?
A: you can call kia and ask them. A 3.5 should have at leas 198hp and 200ft.lb of torque that would translate to approximately 4500lbs of towing capasity. So if your boat weights around this you should be fine if it weights upto 6000lbs you can tow it but most likely give you problems in hills or going agains the wind. I could be wrong because i jus did this calculations on my head so call kia ands ask. One more thing I forgot to add the weight of the van so you can figure that out your self.

It just started yesterday and its a squeaking noise coming from the passenger side in the back the car drives fine should I be worried?
A: Yoour brakes are probably about out of pad, that squeeking is probably the squeeker hitting the rotor warning your that the pad is almost gone

Went to get oil change they say they couldn't top off my coolant as it is blue in color..does this mean that KIA uses w/s wiper fluid as well for the coolant also my dad has one, and they told him his was pink?

A: ????? Blue?? Are they sure they looked in the right hole? Coolant is normally pink/red/orange in color or green. Any gm vehicle uses the first one. No, it is not possible to use windshield washer fluid for coolant. Try checking it yourself and may I suggest not ever returning to that garage.

A: the horn might be damage. maybe a hole/puncture in it? water? have any mechanic look at it and they can change it out. the horn isn't that important unless there's an accident. i cant really remember the last time i use my horn.

A: No, it's too early. By tune-up, I'll assume that you mean new spark plugs and air filter. Your manual will have a maintenance schedule. Check it. Your van uses platinum spark plugs. These are good for around 50,000 miles. Replace your air filter at 25,000 to 30,000 miles. Your spark plug wires should be good for 50,000 to 100,000 miles.
At 30,000 to 35,000 miles, you should replace your brake fluid, coolant (if it's regular, not long-life, coolant), and power steering fluid. The transmission fluid should be replaced every 25,000 to 30,000 miles with SP III fluid or equivalent, not Dexron/Mercon ATF. Many older mechanics don't know about the importance of this requirement (of using the fluid of the right spec in a Kia, Hyundai, or Mitsubishi transmission). The fuel filter should be replaced at 35,000 to 70,000 miles, depending on the quality of the gas you use. Don't fill up when the tanker is at the gas station.

yes there is plenty of fluid in the reservior ... and the front fluid works fine.. the rear wiper operates.. but when you try to make the rear fluid come out you hear the fluid pump make the normal operating sound but no fluid comes out
checked fuses under the hood and inside the car near the drivers side floorboard .. they look good
there is a loose wire hanging out close to the gas pedal coming out from under the dash.. but its like a push switch, doesnt look like its connected to anything .. would this have anything to do with this ?
any ideas why this doesnt work ?
A: Theres a separate reservoir in the back for the rear wipers theres a panel either on the left or right side.

The straight up answer to your question is YES!
All you need to do is Locate a Speedmeter Cluster From another Country from the same Vehicle. Such as a Canadian Vehicle.
Next you would take it to a Speedometer Shop and have them program the new mileage.
An installation of the cluster would finish the job

A: I have a 2005, Bought it new and overall it has great features, bell and whisles but it seems to wear very fast. I have had no problems with the delearship fixing anything. It just seems not to hold up from the leather to the stiching to the paint. Major things just runs great however.
