Q: 2004 kia optima will not start after acciedent?
The other day my wife got into a acceident resulting is some front end damage to the drivers side. After the car was towed to out house It would not start I checked all the fuses and connections. The car cranks but it will not start I have no clue what the problem is??????
A: wait for the insurance to sort it cos if its cut the fuel and been towed to your out house,its maybe dangerous to drive.Thats why they have an impact fuel switch.

A: The plugs themselves screw in and out. The difficult parst can sometimes be accessing the plugs. If you can see them all and think you can access them, its a pretty easy job.

the motor is a dohc 16 valve 6 cilinder, more specificly I want to know how to remove the pipes, is there a special tool or do I have to cut the pipe and buy some kind of adapter for it?
A: This year should be still on warranty? If so take to a dealer to fix. The pipes that you refer to unbolt using a flair nut wrench, so you do not mess up the bolts. Then you may need a puller to remove the pulley. You may be able to borrow this from Auto Zone or Kragen etc. Get a repair manual, is cheap insurance.

A: Don't buy a kia. the only legitimate Korean company is Hyundai. but if you want to be a good person, buy an American car. buying foreign cars is gonna put hundreds of thousands of people out of work and pretty much turn Detroit into a toxic wasteland. a solid Chevy or ford would be MUCH better than a kia.

I turn my steering wheel and sometimes a click from the rear.
A: The " clicking " is coming from your front CV joint's look under the front of your car you will see the axle coming from the front tire into the transmission there will be a rubber boot on each end most in likely which ever boot is torn is the bad joint however it is usually less expensive to purchase the axle shaft which will come with both a new inner and outer cv joint.. hope this helps

Q: 2004 kia optima power lock issue?
My power locks are not working properly. When I turn the key to unlock th drivers side, it unlocks and then when I pull the handle it automaticaly locks itself. Same thing on the inside. I am unable to successfully unlock the door. The only way I am able to get in is through the passenger doors and climb over. Please tell me how to fix this and/or how much it would cost to fix. Thank you in advance!
A: Sounds like an actuator problem in the drivers door. The car should still be under new car warranty. Contact a KIA dealer and ask if it is still in warranty and if it is it should cost nothing.
Q: kia optima 2004 please help!?
The check engine light on in my Kia Optima 2004....I went to AutoZone and they said that it was P0446 Evaporative Vent Circuit Malfunction....What is this???? How can I fix it? Please Help!!??

A: This could be as simple as the gas cap isn't on properly, Like tight, and many clicks when you put it on. Or there maybe a vacuum line that isn't connected to the intake, or has a crack in it some where. Best bet is the gas cap isn't on tight, or had popped its check valve inside it. Good luck.
